Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases of WeezIQ subscriptions and services (“Service”). By purchasing or subscribing to WeezIQ, you agree to this Refund Policy, which forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Merchant of Record

Payments for WeezIQ products and subscriptions are processed by an authorized Merchant of Record, which acts as the official seller for billing purposes.

The Merchant of Record is responsible for:

  • Payment processing
  • Invoicing and receipts
  • Tax calculation and remittance
  • Refund processing

As a result, charges may appear under a third-party name on your bank or card statement.

2. Subscriptions, Cancellation & Access

2.1 Subscription Cancellation
  • Canceling a subscription does not automatically result in a refund
  • Subscriptions can be canceled at any time through your WeezIQ account dashboard
  • After cancellation, access to the Service continues until the end of the current billing period
2.2 Auto-Renewal
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle
  • To avoid renewal charges, you must cancel before your next billing date
  • Charges processed after the renewal date are considered final transactions

3. Refund Eligibility & Refund Window

3.1 Standard Refund Window

WeezIQ offers a 14-day refund window for first-time purchases of paid subscriptions.

To be eligible:

  • The refund request must be submitted within 14 days of the initial payment
  • The account must be in good standing
  • The Service must not have been used in a manner that materially consumes plan resources (e.g., excessive crawling, ingestion, or usage well beyond evaluation purposes)
3.2 Discretionary Refunds

In certain circumstances, refunds may be issued beyond the standard refund window to:

  • Resolve billing disputes
  • Prevent payment disputes or chargebacks
  • Address suspected fraud or misuse

Such refunds are discretionary and assessed on a case-by-case basis.

4. Valid vs. Non-Valid Refund Reasons

4.1 Valid Refund Reasons

Refunds may be approved for:

  • Material technical failures preventing core Service functionality
  • Extended platform outages
  • Duplicate or incorrect billing
  • Failure to provision paid access after successful payment
  • Change of mind or dissatisfaction after purchase
4.2 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are not issued for:

  • Account suspension or termination due to policy violations
  • Utilized all resources of the active plan

5. Non-Refundable Fees

Certain transaction, processing, or network fees charged by payment providers are non-refundable.

If a refund is issued:

  • The refund applies to the net purchase amount
  • Processing or transaction fees may be deducted or retained and are not returned once a payment is completed

To request a refund, please contact our support team before initiating any payment dispute.

  • Account email
  • Order or invoice ID
  • Date of purchase
  • Reason for the refund request

Response Time
  • We aim to respond to all refund-related inquiries within 48 hours
  • Failure to contact us first may limit refund eligibility and result in dispute handling by the payment provider

7. Refund Processing & Access Revocation

7.1 Processing Time
  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method
  • Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider
7.2 Effect of Refund

Once a refund is processed:

  • Subscription access is immediately revoked
  • Any remaining usage credits, API access, or Service benefits are disabled
  • Continued use of the Service after a refund is not permitted

8. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact WeezIQ support first.

Excessive or unjustified chargebacks may result in:

  • Account restrictions
  • Suspension or termination of access
  • Denial of future refund requests

9. Policy Updates

WeezIQ may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and will apply prospectively.
